Apesar de serem desconhecidos da maioria das pessoas os Tankard são uma das mais originais bandas de Thrash metal alguma vez saídas da Alemanha, com álbuns inteiramente dedicados à cerveja e com um excelente sentido de humor marcam já os 20 anos de carreira, provam-se como uma das mais lendárias bandas de metal no seu país de origem, apesar do relativo desconhecimento no resto do mundo!
